Cold Brew Ginger Blackout

In keeping with our cold brew recipes, here is a super unique drink we found online to keep you cool. We’ve been doing a lot of cooking while under quarantine and this drink really sounded like it could be something good. Fortunately, it is! You gotta give this a try.

 

-4 tablespoons of fresh or frozen berries

-1 tablespoon of light brown sugar

-1/2 cup of water

-3 oz of Cold Brew Coffee

-5 oz of Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer.

 

-In a small saucepan, combine the berries, brown sugar and water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Stirring occasionally until the concoction starts to thicken, about 7 minutes and set aside to cool.

 

-Pour the mixture into a glass full of Ice with the cold brew coffee. Stir Vigorously.

 

-Top off with Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer.
